In times such as these, we are more grateful than ever for the incredible community of friends and family which surround our hotels across North & Central America. In response to the unprecedented impact COVID-19 is having on our world, our hotels and most importantly, our people, many of you have asked how you can help.

In response to the crisis and in support of the communities impacted by COVID-19, Accor has made the decision to allocate 25% of its planned 2019 dividend to launch the "ALL Heartist Fund", a €70 million COVID-19 special purpose reserve. Funded directly by Accor, the intent of the ALL Heartist Fund is to provide critical financial support to those members of our Accor family, across the Group’s 5,000 hotels and residences in 110 destinations around the globe, hit hardest by the COVID-19 crisis. For the Group’s more than 300,000 employees worldwide, need-based financial grants will be available to those who are facing significant financial hardships as a result of COVID-19. The fund will also provide support for individual partners in financial distress, on a case-by-case basis, and deploy solidarity initiatives to support front-line healthcare professionals and non-profit organizations, through these challenging times and beyond.

In addition to the global resources generously allocated to specifically support the 30,000 Heartists based in North & Central America, Accor’s regional team is aiming to contribute an additional $500,000, to assist those on our hotel teams with the greatest need. Our corporate team has already contributed over $160,000, getting us a third of the way toward our goal of directly benefiting our Heartists in North & Central America.
